Make a Difference
-
Advancing Quality Education
Our programme advocates for education to be prioritised and targets children who are least likely to receive an education. The expected outcome of the programme is that all children access and complete quality education, within a safe learning environment, gaining the skills and knowledge for lifelong learning.
-
Advancing Social Welfare
With the recycle goods we get from Australia we will be donating them to households in Nigeria that are lacking basic things like bed, couch, kitchen utensils, clothing, shoes etc and donating unused or recycle hospital equipment to hospitals in the local region of Nigeria. We also will be providing mobility equipment to the people with disabilities and the aged.
-
Water, Sanitation and Hygiene Services
We are in the process of establishing and operating publicly accessible hospitals. We not only provide training to the medical professionals employed by these hospitals to ensure they possess the highest level of skills, but we also offer the necessary services for effective diagnosis and treatment, along with the provision of medications.
GIVE AT WORK
EMPLOYEES WANT TO GIVE
Employees want to work for a company that cares about causes like helping the poor and given back to the in needs. Studies have shown that a company’s involvement with causes is one of the most important factors employees consider when applying for a job. 1- It can increase employee engagement and productivity, and it can reduce turnover. 2- A well-designed corporate responsibility program can even increase revenue.
THIS IS WHAT YOU CAN DO
If your company doesn’t currently match donations to non-profits, you can be a part of making this happen. Your company can have a life-changing impact by contributing to our course of eradicating poverty and supporting the wellbeing of Africans in desperate needs. This gives people back their time, their health, and their futures. Additionally, your company’s commitment to HER AFRICA could make employees even happier about coming to work. It’s a double win.
If you are interested in setting up an employee giving campaign, please do not hesitate to give us a call to discuss it further.
Donations over $2 are tax-deductible because HER AFRICA has a Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status with the Australian Tax Office. Your personal information is handled in accordance with our privacy policy. If you have any further question please call our support team on (03) 9028 7542 or email us at admin@herafrica.org.

Donate Recycled Goods
Another way we need your help is with your donation of recycled goods. Everyday millions of items are thrown away that could be repurposed to help the poor. Basic items that we take for granted every day and get thrown away would be a great way to get involved with our cause. Essential items like furniture, clothes, shoes, mattresses, toys, white goods, electrical and electronics goods and cutlery are all things that the people need. We do not reject any items donated to us regardless of the condition unlike some charity organisations out there.
